Visiting The Vise

Since the weekend was a bust for me, I figured I would share something a little more productive. The following images are a few flies I have recently tied up. I have been toying with all different size flies and patterns. These are not just trout flies. I am on a mission this year to try and catch a pike or musky on a fly. Hope you enjoy!

  1. Some great looking flies Brian. That bottom streamer is a great hatch matcher for a beta fish :).

    1. Thanks Damien! I was looking for a blueish color to replicate a bluegill pattern somewhat. It turned out pretty good, but those big ones are very time consuming and eat up a ton of material.

Everyone of those flies would produce. This is a great combo of warm and cold water patterns. Thanks for sharing

    1. Daniel, those are the new Fish Skull heads made by Flymen Fishing Company. They are super nice and could be used for a sculpin pattern. They make them in assorted sizes and colors. Here is a link to the companies profile. I use some of there beads for nymphs as well. Quality product from these guys. http://flymenfishingcompany.org/products/fish-skull%E2%84%A2-products/fish-skull/
