bushy's bongo

Bushy's Bongo
Created by the Australian "Bushy" Bush as a saltwater streamer for tarpon. For larger predators in saltwater it is tied up to six inches or more but for a smaller quarry it can be sized down. Just like clousers and deceivers it makes the transition to freshwater easily.

  1. When you say 2 - 6 grizzle hackles, do you men quantity? 6 would be a pretty bushy fly!! I'll be hitting the vice with this pattern for sure!

  2. I don't know what's better...the name or the fly? That looks like a wicked pattern, may gather up some stuff if i can just stop tying woolybuggers...they are fish catching machines!!
