Created in the 1950's by the master Lefty Kreh as a saltwater baitfish imitation, but has applications in both fresh and salt.
hook- 2/0 - 4/0
tail- 3 or 4 hackle feathers add some flash
body- bucktail 2 colors add some flash
throat- red flash cut short inside the hook point
head- lead eyes

ReplyDeleteAnything Lefty has good to be a winner. This guy has made fly fishing what it is today.
And we should all be grateful. Some of his casting instruction should be watched by all that choose to pick up a fly rod.
